Even in the hospital, with an IV in his hand, Camden's still such a cutie bug! We might even get to go home today!

A new post!

Things are going well here. We are getting back into the routine of school and work. Camden will be 10 weeks old on Tuesday and Alex is now 20 months. I hope that all of you who read the blog are doing well, too!

We have not ever been able to get Alex to wear hats, but this baseball cap seems to be piquing his interest, so we snapped a picture before he took it off! Camden smiles often now and we were finally able to catch him with the camera! (I know I am smiling, too, because last night, Camden slept through for SEVEN HOURS for the first time!!) :)

Christmas- the warm part!

After our trip to Kansas, we all headed down to sunny Florida, to the beach at Siesta Key. Alex LOVED the pool, being outside, and playing in the sand on the beach! We had a great time relaxing with Grandma Jeanne, Papa Dick and Nana Betsy, and Aunt Jessica and Uncle Ryan! Here are just a couple of cute pictures from our favorite week of the year!

Christmas break

Hi again! Christmas break was great! We flew to Kansas City, where we were able to see lots of family and friends- in some VERY frigid temperatures! We had fun with Grandma and Grandpa; Brant, Bridget and Aidan; Granny and Papa; Aunt Whitney; Judy; and Uncle Mike, Aunt Stacy, Jackson, and Makaylee. Thanks to all of your for getting together and for your hospitality! We also had a chance to see friends Quinn, Kylie, Ryan, and Beran. I am including some pictures- from both inside and outside!

Family picture- attempted...

On Saturday evening, we attempted to get a family picture of the four Peoples people and the two Peoples canine family members, all together. It was a funny event and I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. In the event that you ever think it's easy to wrangle and photograph a toddler and a newborn together, and to also include two hyperactive dogs in said picture, think again- you're wrong. :)

Two weeks old today!

Yesterday Camden turned two weeks old! He is following the "normal baby routine:" he eats, he sleeps, he rolls around on the floor for tummy time. He's also been smooched by Alex- and Addie! Here are some cute pictures of both of the boys.
